Oregon Business Energy Tax Credit Program
Oregon's Business Energy Tax Credit:
Oregon allows businesses to take a state tax credit equal to 35% of the cost of investments in energy conservation, recycling, renewable energy resources, or less-polluting transportation fuels. The tax deduction is taken over five years, and there is no maximum deduction. Oregon’s program is the widest-reaching energy independence and conservation tax incentive program in the United States: everything from developing new market for recycled products to employee commuting programs may be eligible for a tax break. The measure also includes a tax deduction for green buildings.
